Description:
The all-new Dancer 79 is our first pure piste ski designed with one place in mind; 'la piste de dance'. This ski's home is in and around the resort's groomed runs, where each high-energy turn matters. The Dancer 79 features a progressive mix of minimal rocker, parabolic shape and razor-thin Titanal sheets for class-leading stability at speed and unrelenting grip on hardpack snow.
Built for a dynamic riding experience on the piste and its sides, sporting a sharp look and a touch of freeski soul, it's one of our most electrifying skis in the collection.
Built with poplar - The Dancer Series is the freeskier’s delight. Poplar wood is a light-colored, medium-weight, and durable softwood with excellent flex and vibration absorption. Poplar ensures skis offer exceptional grip and torsional stability on the downhill. Featuring recycled materials and backed by the finest, most durable Austrian construction, powered 100% by renewable energy.
A progressive flat-tail shape - Each Dancer ski blends the turn stability and speed of a traditional flat tail shape with a perfectly calculated amount of rocker, engineered to reward pivots and slashes. It’s stable to ski at high speeds, and playful and easy to initiate turns at lower speeds – this shape unlocks terrain and conditions with satisfying ease.
Features:
Poplar Core - Poplar is a light-colored, medium-weight, and durable softwood with excellent flex and vibration absorption. It enhances performance by providing impressive pop, buttering, and stability. Poplar ensures skis offer exceptional grip and torsional stability on the downhill and in the park.
Dual Span Titanal - Titanal is a top-tier, sturdy metal alloy with isotropic strength, meaning it’s equally strong in all directions. This quality ensures skis that love being on edge, blasting through bumps, and staying stable in variable snow, making Titanal the ideal chassis for your dream freeride ski.
Mustache Flex - The 'Moustache Flex' pattern is ideal for most skiers. It offers stability in front of and behind the binding for solid edge hold, with a smooth, progressive flex in the tips and tails to absorb bumps and snow debris. Perfect for progression and easier turn initiation and finish.
Elliptical Sidecut - The Elliptical Sidecut features a longer radius underfoot for quicker, easier pivots, and shorter radius in the tip and tail for effortless turn initiation. This innovative sidecut supports a wide range of turn lengths, angles, and mounting positions, enhancing your skiing versatility and control.
